Catherine Codispoti, MHA
Catherine Codispoti, MHA, is executive vice president and chief people officer at Children's National Hospital. She joined Children’s National in 2019 and focuses on the growth and support of our workforce.
Catherine has a broad range of healthcare experience, having served in leadership roles in Nursing Operations, Financial Planning, Business Operations and Human Resources during her 12 years at Texas Children's Hospital, prior to joining Children's National.
Her interest in healthcare and passion for caring for kids started when she was young, after spending time in children's hospitals with her identical twin sisters who were born with achondroplasia (a bone growth disorder that causes dwarfism).
Catherine is active in many professional and leadership organizations, and has spoken and been published on healthcare topics throughout her career. She holds a master's in health administration from the University of Oklahoma and a bachelor of science degree in biology from Wofford College. In June 2021, Catherine was named to the Washington Business Journal's "40 Under 40" list.
Catherine lives in Washington, D.C., with her husband Austin and their three children.
