Plan Your Visit to the HSC Pediatric Center
Visiting Hours
For patients staying with us, we encourage parents to visit any time and often. We view you as part of the healthcare team and want you to feel at home. Siblings and other visitor hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.
When you arrive, check in at the reception desk in our main lobby. Be sure to have your ID with you every time you come. We’ll give you an access card so you can get onto your child’s nursing unit, or direct you to our Outpatient Center for regular therapy appointments.
Cafeteria Menu and Hours
The HSC Café accepts cash and Mastercard and Visa credit cards. Our cafeteria is open:
Monday – Friday
- Breakfast 7:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.
- Lunch 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
- Dinner 5:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. (Limited Service)
Saturday & Sunday
- 10:00 am- 2:00 pm (Limited Service)
The cafeteria is closed on holidays.

We encourage you to schedule a tour of our hospital so that you can become familiar with our facility and services. The HSC Pediatric Center is located in a quiet residential neighborhood on the northeast edge of Washington, DC. Every detail of the hospital—the state-of-the art facilities, the warm, bright colors and the outdoor playgrounds and gardens—was built to provide a calm and soothing place for the whole family. You will have the chance to ask questions and see our state-of-the-art facilities first hand.
