The HIV Services Mental Health Program provides psychological services to children, adolescents, young adults and families living with HIV/AIDS. The program is currently open to patients between ages 4 and 24 and their families. Our services are multidisciplinary to ensure that patients and families receive comprehensive care in our outpatient clinic.

Patients living with HIV/AIDS often experience a variety of mental health issues including: anxiety, depression, bereavement, post-traumatic stress symptoms, substance abuse, relationship problems, difficulties with adjustment, and behavioral problems. Patients are routinely screened for areas of concern, and possible recommendations are discussed with families.
