Getting Ready for Your First Appointment?

To streamline the process, we strongly encourage that you complete our intake form. Once your child’s medical records have been received, we will review their information and contact you to schedule an appointment.

At the Division of Pediatric Colorectal & Pelvic Reconstruction at Children's National, we understand that coordinating your child’s care with several different specialists may feel overwhelming. To help streamline the process, we offer nurse navigators to seamlessly guide you through the process by assisting with transportation, housing (if you are coming from out of town), insurance and scheduling appointments.

Places to Stay

Children’s National has an amazing Housing and Amenities Program to help families navigate the process of securing accommodations. The goal of this program is to help families remove the stress of daily living and provide support that enables them to focus on what really matters: their child’s health and healing.

The Housing and Amenities coordinator works directly with families to secure resources and housing solutions that best match their needs. Through the Housing and Amenities program, families can take advantage of special negotiated rates with premier hotels in the Washington, D.C., area. These properties offer endless amenities for families including a round trip shuttle that operates 7 days a week.
