Kait Brodar earned a Master of Public Health from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She obtained her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from University of Miami and completed her psychology internship at Children's National Hospital. She is a fellow with Whole Bear Care Primary Care Behavioral Health Services at Children's National. Clinical interests include primary care, consultation, adolescents and young adults, youth with chronic health conditions, and treating emotional disorders and executive functioning problems. Research interests include integrating psychosocial screening/intervention within medical clinics, increasing access to psychological care, psychosocial factors in diabetes management, and impact of traumatic experiences on health.

- Tiffany Kichline, Ph.D., graduated from the Clinical Child Psychology Program at the University of Kansas, where she specialized in pediatric psychology. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago/Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine. She is currently a postdoctoral fellow with the Anxiety Disorders Program at Children’s National Hospital. Her clinical interests include pediatric psychology broadly and its intersection with anxiety. Her research interests have focused on developing tailored interventions for pediatric patient populations to improve mental and physical health outcomes.

Maxie-Moreman, PhD is a psychology fellow in the Children's National Hospital Divisions of Hematology, Oncology, and Blood and Marrow Transplant where she provides clinical care to children and families with a range of medical and psychological concerns. She completed her doctoral internship in the Pediatric Health Psychology Track at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital in Miami, FL and completed her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology at the University of Miami. Her clinical interests include providing culturally sensitive and evidence-based treatments within a multidisciplinary setting to children and adolescents with chronic and acute medical conditions. Her research interests include experiences with online and offline discrimination, exposure to traumatic events online, adjustment outcomes, and protective factors in Black and Latinx adolescents and emerging adults.

Cassianna McCants received her Psy.D. in clinical psychology from the Michigan School of Psychology and completed her pre-doctoral internship at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center (early child track). Dr. McCants is a psychology fellow in the Children's National Hospital Early Childhood Program providing evidence-based interventions and neurodevelopmental assessments. She provides NICU perinatal interventions and participates in Child Health Advocacy Institute's Community Mental Health CORE (Collaboration, Outreach, Research, Equity). Clinical interests include early childhood and perinatal mental health and neurodevelopmental assessments. Advocacy interests include access to efficient/representative care, prevention/early intervention in community settings, and perinatal mental health disparities.

Emma Whitmyre is a postdoctoral fellow at Children's National Hospital and recently completed her APA-accredited predoctoral internship at Seattle Children’s Hospital (Child Track) through the University of Washington, School of Medicine. She spent two years as a research associate at the NYU Child Study IDEAS Center and has trained in pediatric primary care and hematology/oncology at Children’s National. Emma continues to be committed to learning how to best implement evidence-based services, and improve access to care for families, in integrated healthcare environments and is excited to be taking on new roles within pediatric primary care and complex care this year.
