Shimon, one of three fellows believes that the most exciting part of the Colorectal Fellowship Program is the ability to thrive as a surgical trainee, clinician, researcher and member of a collaborative team consisting of excellent nurses, advanced practice providers, administrative staff, urologists, gynecologists and world-renowned surgeons.
Our Fellowship Programs
Colorectal Fellowship
The Pediatric Colorectal Surgery Fellowship is a 1-2 year program intended for candidates who would like to gain experience in advanced colorectal and pelvic reconstruction surgery. The fellow can remain for a second year to pursue additional research.
Colorectal Research Fellowship
The Pediatric Colorectal Research Fellowship is a 1-2 year program. During the fellowship, fellows conduct research on the treatment and long-term outcomes of patients with pediatric colorectal problems, which may also include opportunities to join for clinic and the operating room.
Pelvic Reconstruction Fellowship
The Pediatric Pelvic Reconstruction Fellowship is a one-year program intended for candidates who have received prior training in pediatric surgery but seek additional training in complex colorectal procedures, as well as pediatric urology and pediatric gynecology.
