Support Groups
Coping with a child’s illness, injury or hospitalization can be difficult for the whole family but many parents find comfort in speaking with other families who face similar experiences and challenges. Through support groups, parents and caregivers can exchange helpful information, provide solace to one another and offer tips to help in caring for their children.
Children’s National offers various support groups for children and families. Support groups vary by condition and department. Some are run through departments, while others focus on a topic like the Gender and Sexuality Support Group.
